This year the keynote speaker is Laura Porter who is the co-founder of ACE Interface, an organization focused on preventing ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and promoting well being. Laura's presentation on NEAR Flourishing – Understanding What Helps People Most Affected by Adversity, will help participants gain an understanding of ACEs and the effects of adversity and toxic stress on development. Topics of Neuroscience, Epigenetics, Adverse Childhood Experience, and Resilience (NEAR), will be discussed.
