You Must Be Regulated Before You Can Learn: How Sensory Processing and Self-Regulation Impact Behavior

Description

This training allows therapist to help families understand how sensory differences impact a child's learning. Therapist will increase their knowledge of how to best use proactive sensory activities to help reduce meltdown behavior in children. Non traditional approaches to addressing behaviors will be explained. These strategies will focus on teaching children the skills they need to succeed within the home and community setting.
