| Description |
This workshop will help therapists understand the role of a dietitian within the EI team and when to request a dietitian evaluation. We will review how to monitor a young child’s growth, risk factors, common nutrition challenges for young children, and strategies for family education. We will also explore some specific cases when nutrition should be involved e.g. children with feeding tubes, medical diagnoses that involve nutrition, medications, etc.
