A full day conference focused on the 20 years of early intervention at Child and Family Connections 10 of La Rabida Children's Hospital.
This conference celebrates the journey of Early Intervention by highlighting leaders who have made significant contributions in advancing the field. Our collection of presenters represents the diverse roles that enrich Early Intervention. Our History Makers, Victor Bernstein, Ph.D. and Linda Gilkerson, Ph.D., will share their wisdom through the story of Early Intervention in Chicago. Our Movers and Shakers panel (Rita Amadi, SW, Romonia Brown Coombs, DT, Rachel Fortiz, SLP, Colleen Harper, PT, Linda Howard, RN, Surresh Karra, OT, Donna Manteca, DT and Santosh Mundada, SLP ) is a compassionate team of early interventionists who will offer creative assessment and intervention strategies. Our Trail Blazers, Dr. Edith Chernoff and Dr. Nancy Roizen will explore current trends in the care of medically involved children. This conference will provide opportunities for participants to gain insight into a family’s experiences of Early Intervention services. We will conclude with a family who will share their remarkable journey.
