Description |
Language and communication skills are such an integral part of a child's development in the first three years. However, understanding what is typical or atypical can be very challenging for the rest of the team. Melissa Wise will be introducing the evaluation/assessment process in looking at sound production and identifying what is atypical versus what is typical yet delayed. She will review the importance and structure of formal articulation testing and how this can be completed effectively in an arena evaluation. We will further discuss how this assessment process and the results tie into eligibility and clinical judgement.
