Drug Endangered Children Training

Description

Drug endangered children are part of a growing population of children whose lives are being impacted by parental substance use or drug activity. This training will look at overcoming the challenges in aligning the agencies and systems responsible for preventing, intervening, and treating issues related to drug endangered children. This training will also focus on how to implement the Drug Endangered Children (DEC) Approach, which has been proven to be effective in increasing the chances of better outcomes for drug endangered children and breaking multi-generational cycles of abuse and neglect. Insights about how various professionals are in a position to identify, protect, and serve drug endangered children and their families will be provided.
