Dynamic Tactile and Temporal Cueing (DTTC) Approach to Treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) in Early Intervention

Description

This training will review the Principles of Motor Learning and define Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), including how CAS differs from other motor speech disorders and more common developmental phonological disorders. Differential diagnosis of CAS will be described and how to create a plan of treatment will be covered. Emphasis will be on diagnosing and treating children ages 1.5-3 years old.
