This training provided information about the IATP and the valuable resource they can be for families in EI. Lynette demonstrated several pieces of equipment commonly ordered through EI, including various switches, modified toys, weighted vests, and communication devices. Lynette reviewed how families can borrow specific pieces of equipment for several weeks in order to work with them and make sure they are appropriate for their child. Lynette also discussed the reasons why pieces of AT equipment may not work for a child and their family.
