Roundtable Discussion: Strategies for Supporting Families in Early Intervention

Description

Service coordinators are often the first professionals working with families to introduce the concept of early intervention. Since the types of supports that families receive through EI is often so different than anything they may have received before, the SC is most often sharing with families the concepts and principles of EI to help them understand and know what to expect.
This round-table discussion will include a case discussion in working with a family, review of what families most often know and/or are looking for and how to share information so that they understand what to expect with EI services.
