Too many bridges: Not enough tunnels through Poverty

Description

Professionals have learned about poverty's impact on children and families worldwide. Families experiencing lower SES have many challenges due to the implicit/explicit biases inherent in societal systems. This training will use the knowledge of the “bridges (stored knowledge)” to “tunnel (experiential knowledge)” through these societal and intimate personal hurdles. Participants agree to come willing to dig deep to handle personal thoughts, perceptions, and realities to replace them with new thoughts, perceptions, and realities to substantially change their work and outcomes.
