Description |
This training builds off the August 2018 presentation on Disordered Neural Connectivity. In that training we discussed how neural connectivity impacts regulation. Many participants indicated they would like a continuation of that subject matter with a focus on intervention strategies to promote self-regulation. In this workshop we will briefly review why regulation is such an important piece in therapeutic intervention, and why a regulated state is optimal for all learning. Strategies will be shared which can be used when regulation is needed for the child, parent, or even the therapist in Early Intervention. This training will be interactive in nature and participants will be encouraged to share strategies they have found useful.
