In this session, participants will gain a basic working knowledge of developmental positioning and handling strategies for the neonatal population. We will also explore the environmental stressors of the neonatal unit and the impact on development. Positioning techniques will include supine, side lying and prone in an isolette, as well as considerations for those older babies in a crib.
