Description

Telehealth is emerging as an evidence based practice to serve families that may have difficulty accessing occupational therapy. In this session, we will describe the evidence related to coaching delivered via telehealth for families of young children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). We will outline specific elements of early childhood coaching and ask session participants to practice coaching. We will address frequently asked questions related to the use of telehealth. Lastly, we will describe the cost effectiveness of telehealth as compared to traditional service delivery models.
