2018 ILOTA Conference Research Platform: Autism Spectrum Disorder and Parents Interventions: the Case of Arab Families in the Literature

Description

The purpose of the educational session is to provide an overview of existing research that demonstrates the current status of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and available services for families in the Arab region. The presentation will discuss existing diagnostic and screening tools as well as available services. In particular, the presentation will describe the methods that have been used in translating practices that provide support for children with ASD and their families.
