Description |
This is the first of ten Reflective Practice Groups in Jacksonville during 2018-2019 that the Illinois Association for Infant Mental Health conducted for professionals in the central Illinois area who work with children and their families. This group was facilitated by a professional who has obtained the Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health Credential through the Illinois Association for Infant Mental Health, a rigorous, 10-month process. The Reflective Practice Groups give professionals in Early Intervention an opportunity to connect and collaborate with other professionals while discussing reflective practices and self-knowledge; culture and diversity; family and community systems; infant and child development in the context of relationships; and professional ethics when working with children and their families.
**There is also a Reflective Practice Group in Bloomington in 2018-2019.
