Description

Cardiopulmonary disease processes and the medical interventions necessary to treat them can impact growth and development across the lifespan. This course reviews major congenital heart disease pathologies, surgical interventions and the medical course that influence pediatric rehabilitation across the continuum of acute post-op to home care. This course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and is therefore appropriate for the PT and PTA.
