CFC 8 and CFC 12 Reflective Practice Series 2021

Description

This professional development series is designed to promote the use of reflective consultation to explore critical work with infants, young children and their families, other providers, and intersecting systems. A guided group format will be used to process participant experiences and vignettes. Reflective practice principles and the Diversity Informed Tenets for Work with Infants, Children and Families will be embedded in the learning experience promoting the use of introspection, relationships, and consultation for optimal service provision and professional growth. This intentional process develops the capacity to examine professional self, multiple perspectives, and parallel influences on intervention. The intersectionality of relationships focusing on family, team and use of professional self are fundamental to convergent strategies. Exploration of the following themes and concepts will be embedded in the process.
