The FAN (Facilitating Attuned Interactions) is an engagement practice that helps providers
strengthen their relationships and collaboration with parents/caregivers. The FAN supports
professional’s connections with caregivers and provides a framework for “matching” with families,
as well as re-aligning after mismatches. The FAN is an engagement approach that is beneficial to
new and experienced practitioners. This session is intended to strengthen the provider's integration of the FAN approach into their sessions with caregivers.
