This Webinar will take place directly after the webinar entitled "Early Intervention and Daycare: Meshing Two Worlds". This hour long reflective practice session will focus on reflecting on what was learned in the webinar and exchanging information and experience amongst the attendees. Below is a description of the required webinar:
Providing therapy in a classroom comes with its own unique set of challenges. We are faced with making decisions about where to provide services, worries of disrupting the class, clashing opinions between us and school staff, limited access to parents and home practices, a host of distractions that impedes regulation for you and your client, and much more. During this workshop we will discuss these challenges, review best practice, and explore ways in which you might be able to approach this setting in the future so that it is less daunting and more fulfilling.
