This workshop is designed for teachers, SLPs and developmental therapists who provide early intervention services to children with a hearing loss. Strategies for working with very young children to help them develop spoken language skills will be presented. Presentations will also focus on techniques for helping parents work with their own children. This very interactive workshop will offer live demonstrations, language simulation and plenty of hands-on experiences. This workshop is based on the book, “My Baby and Me: A Book About Teaching Your Child to Talk” and each participant will receive a copy of the book.
