Guiding Children's Behavior

Description Wouldn't it be great if we could know why kids act the way they do, and then do something that would help them learn and grow and make more positive choices in the future? In this workshop, we will look at the four reasons children do the things they do. We will discuss ways that we can be more effective in guiding children towards actions that are cooperative and helpful. Tools will be shared that teachers can put to use immediately in the classroom to increase effectiveness in dealing with difficult behaviors that tax our patience.
