Making Connections: Understanding the Maze of Sensory Processing Dysfunction & How It Relates to EI

Description This workshop is designed to define sensory processing dysfunction and its subtypes. Early Intervention providers of all disciplines will learn how a child's individual sensory patterns affect the way the child reacts to everything that happens to them throughout the day and how dysfunctional responses appear. Evaluation and "just right fit" treatment will be discussed in context of the principles of Early Intervention, while maintaining the team approach.
