Learn at Lunch: Reflections on article examining impact of birth weight on memory abilities

Description

Open to service coordinators in CFC 22 only. Coordinators and staff will review the article "Spatial Location Memory Discriminates Children Born at Extremely Low Birth Weight and Late-Preterm at Age Three" (published in journal Neuropsychology, 2010, Vol. 24, No. 6, 787-794). Participants will reflect on the findings of the article indicating that extremely low birth rate affects children's spatial location memory and concluding the benefits of early intervention services.
