Description/Bio: Outdoor environments are more than swingsets and slides! This presentation includes all the Illinois Early Learning Standards in uncovering the mystery of the process for creating an outdoor classroom. Young children can be as engaged in learning through play in the outdoors as much as they are indoors. Participants will understand the value of play in the outdoor setting that promote social interactions, independence, creativity, and most importantly, friendships. Join us for a look outside the window.
