Description |
Providing Early Intervention supports in child care settings, both center-based and family child care, can be beneficial for all involved when all partners feel heard, respected, and included in the partnership & planning process. Inclusion of infants and toddlers with developmental delays within the child care setting requires consideration of how a child may meaningfully participate and access the activities and routines in the child care setting, and the supports that the child care provider may need in order to feel confident in their ability to meet the child’s needs. Come join a variety of early childhood professionals from Children’s Home & Aid, Early Intervention, STARNET Region IV and Child Care Directors share strategies that work when offering Early Intervention supports within a child care setting.
