Description |
Professionals have many opportunities to empower families as they transition into early intervention and throughout their time in early intervention. Join parents who became professionals in the field as they share their family’s journey through the use of digital stories. Hear what helped to make a difference in their ability to be able to advocate for their child & family’s needs, locate resources within the community and feel confident in their ability to meet their child’s unique developmental needs. Tips for learning about families priorities related to transitions will be explored. Family Matters Information Specialists, STARNET Family Resource Specialist, & the Child & Family Connections Parent Liaison will all be part of this panel discussion.
