Childhood Apraxia of Speech: Practical Assessment and Treatment Methods for Developing More Intelligible Speech (Birth-Grade 6)

Description

This is a practical seminar in which dozens of video examples are show to demonstrate the characteristics seen in children with apraxia and to show usable assessment and treatment methods that have a solid theoretical basis. Participants will have oppotunities to practics the skills taught in mock assessment activities. Participants will get the latest, most up-to-date information on the disorder as outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and they will learn treatment methods substantiated by efficacy research.
