Description |
It is often difficult for families to negotiate the delivery of services for a child with developmental or behavioral needs. This is particularly true when mental health services are recommended. This seminar will identify ways a team can work together in creating an integrated and individualized approach that attends to the whole picture of a child and their family, as well as discussing how to support families in feeling part of the multi-disciplinary services team. Several case presentations will be examined, and a panel including a speech pathologist, an occupational therapist, a social worker, and senior clinician will discuss their experiences working together on behalf of children and families with complex needs
