Mental Health and Early Childhood

Description

How do young children view themselves and their value in the world around them? When children develop in environments that promote a healthy sense of self, they behave in ways that communicate a sense of value and worth. The child's mental wellness determines the success he experiences in his relationships with others and his ability to regulate his emotions in his daily functioning. In this workshop, we will examine the child's individual constitution, the culture in which the child is developing, and the significant relationships the child has with others. Case consultation will be addresses as participants share and discuss their own experiences with children.
