Adolescent Development and Parenting Online

Description

This training prepares staff to work effectively with teen parents to support the parent-child relationship while keeping adolescents engaged in family support services.

This is a “hybrid” online course, meaning that there are self-paced, independent readings and activities (asynchronous elements); as well as required ‘live’, web-based group meetings (synchronous elements). The course runs 4 consecutive
weeks; and includes an asynchronous online module to complete each week, as well as a synchronous online discussion for one hour each week. Completion of both parts in their entirety is required for completion of the course. The live weekly webinars are held on Fridays from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. CST, unless otherwise indicated. Please review the Adolescent Development and Parenting - Online weekly webinar module for the specific webinar dates.
