This training is designed to explore how early childhood and family support home visiting programs can implement strategies to build protective factors in families.
Every family has strengths and resources that support and guide them through challenging times. As home visiting professionals one of your goals is to help families identify and activate those strengths, or protective factors, when needed. This training is designed to deepen the professional home visitor’s understanding of protective factors and how they relate to the prevention of child abuse. It also explores how early child and family support programs can implement
