Social Emotional Development of the Child

Description

This training will offer discussion of the major theorists and their developmental models which have contributed to our understanding of how infants and toddlers develop feelings of attachment, safety. a sense of self, and the possible early foundatuions of personality. Included in this presentation will be a discusion of the range of development which can be considered to be typical, and how temperment and caregiver's "goodness of fit" expectations may impact the developing relationship and sense of self.
