The 6-Step Nutritional Program

Description

It has been clinically proven that children within the Autism Spectrum and/or with Sensory Processing Disorders suffer from multiple food allergies, digestive enzymes deficiencies which makes them more vulnerable to potentially harmful foods such as grain protein gluten, and dairy protein known as casein. The risk for nutritional deficiencies is increased by additional feeding challenges from medication side effects and resistance to new foods and textures due to sensory integration deficits. Poor nutrition powerfully affects behavior, sleep patterns, concentration, mood, and learning ability.

This exciting new workshop demonstrates dietary intervention as an essential piece of the total treatment of SPD, Autism, Asperger’s & ADHD. Through her expertise in psychology and nutrition, Ms. Elahi has established a six-step nutritional foundation to give the child’s body what it needs in safe amounts. Using well-formulated, cost-effective intervention strategies, participants will leave with proven tools to reach each child’s optimal brain function, enhancing responses in other treatments and therapies.
