| Description |
This day-long workshop will present an array of communication strategies for working with children ages 0-3 who have limited verbal speech or are non-verbal. Topics will include the important of aided language stimulation, symbol selection, introduction of low-tech communication devices and available resources to support the creation and introduction of these resources. Ideas will be shared so that therapists can support families to use these strategies in their daily lives.
