Identifying Children with Autism Early: Why it Matters and What Helps Families

Description

Dr. Landa will review (1) early markers of autism and (2) recent research on evidence based treatments for autism in young children. Her focus will be on approaches that assist families in the process of (1) interacting successfully with their child with autism; and (2) addressing the emotional effects of this diagnosis on family dynamics and functioning.
