Fetal Alcohol Exposure: Changing the Future

Description

This training will expose participants to a much better understanding of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Participants will explore and discuss the in utero effects of alcohol as well as the facial, bodily, neorological, cognitive, and behavioral characteristics of FASD. Other considerations will be given to understanding the diagnosis of FASD, including how the diagnosis is confirmed.
