Suspected Apraxia and Early Intervention: Identifying characteristics of apraxia and developing a treatment protocol for children under age 3

Description

This course is intended to help therapists understand childhood apraxia of speech by reviewing the common characteristics that are often exhibited in young children with suspected apraxia. This course will also review how to give an informal assessment and how to develop an efficient and effective treatment protocol, while providing helpful information that can be given to families in order to enhance their understanding of childhood apraxia of speech.
