Autism: From A to M

Description

Therapists will engage in a facilitated discussion around the DVD from Linguisystems - Autism: From A to M. This course discusses the assessment, uniqueness, teaching techniques, integration and professional roles, and methodologies of autism. Also included are guidelines about placement; team decisions; parental involvement; dietary concerns; teacher attitudes toward autism; and ideas to stimulate learning. Focus of the discussion will center on how to best support families in Early Intervention when a child receives a diagnosis of autism.
