Dr. Boyd discussed upcoming changes proposed for DSM-5 related to the duagnosis of autism spectrum disorders. She also discussed the medical diagnostic clinic at Loyola University Hospital and the procedures they use to makd developmental diagnoses of autism as well as other disorders.
Team members from the diagnostic clinic demonstrated visual systems that they often recommend to parents of children with diagnoses on the sutism spectrum.
