Transitioning from Early Intervention to Early Childhood Special Education

This workshop will provide participants with the information and tools needed to ensure a successful transition from early intervention services to early childhood special education programs and services. The workshop will include a description of Child and Family Connections (CFC); an overview of the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP): the difference between Part C ( Early Intervention- Birth to Three) and Part B ( Public School 3- 5) services; screening (Child Find activities); the assessment and evaluation process; and an overview of the Individualized Education Program (IEP).
