Description |
Promoting positive outcomes for children is best achieved when the whole family is accepted and supported in an approach that strengthens the family. Recognizing the parent-child bond as the first, most important relationship in a child’s life, it is important to have strong, positive relationships with the whole family. Having such relationships allows for programs to implement programs that value principles of family-centered practice.
This training promotes awareness of the importance of developing skills in building relationships with families through a variety of reflective and interactive activities.
