| Description |
Constipation affects 9-10% of the pediatric population worldwide, influencing many aspects of the lives of the children who have it. It is necessary clinicians understand the pathophysiology behind constipation and the potential impact it may have on a pediatric patient's rehabilitation. This course will give the participant an opportunity to understand the role constipation plays in pediatric therapy and how to screen for it during the evaluation. This course will also offer different treatment strategies to be implemented into the learner's clinical presentation.
