Milestones and the Link to Cognitive Growth in Children (Harvey - Live Interactive Webinar)

Description

In 2024, the CDC reported that one in six children is diagnosed with a developmental disability. Research has shown that motor skills afford exploration, provide experience, and agility, which are critical for promoting brain structure and function (Shi, 2022). Despite the correlation between milestone achievement and later intelligence and mental health, the AMA adjusted milestone markers, putting U.S. children further behind. This course will provide professionals working in early intervention a checklist of key milestones to provide targeted interventions, from nutrition and sleep to open learning strategies, to boost motor development!
